What good grades and good conduct can get you.....plus some other fun stuff

At the end of the summer Mallory had started to express some interest in getting her ears pierced. She asked Lonnie and he said it would be up to me(he was a little hesitant and didn't really know how to answer) so I thought about it and made a deal with Mal. I told her if she earned all Es and all As the first nine weeks of school then we would go get them pierced. On Friday she found out she had achieved that so off we went to get them done.

We first went to Sweet and Sassy and of course you had to have an appt so that annoyed me and I called Claire's at the mall. No appointment needed so we headed over there.
Mallory anxiously awaiting and with support from Morgan! Mallory did great. She only cried one tear and I think that was more out of her nervous anticipation. She picked out 14k white gold earrings with her December birthstone.

I asked Morgan if she ever wanted hers pierced and she said when she is 7. Mallory then informed her she would have to earn them....too funny.

Morgan always manages to find something silly.

Last week Mallory had her storybook parade at school where all of the students get to dress up as a character from a book that they bring to school. Morgan is going to be Rapunzel for Halloween so Mal borrowed her wig and used an old costume and brought the book Tangled. This is Mallory and her BFF Rylie

Morgan is "Pick of the Week" this week in her class so we had to make a poster with things that she likes. She picked out all of the accessories for the poster and I picked out the pictures.

Morgan's information on her poster:

Favorite food- spaghetti and meatballs

Favorite color- blue

Something she is good at- swimming

Favorite thing to play with- barbies

Something that might surprise people- she is good at the Wii( I wanted her to tell the class that she can be really mean but she didn't want them to know that! lol)

When she gets in trouble she- says I'm sorry

When she grows up she want to be- in a rock band

Siblings- Case and Mallory

Favorite thing to do at school- play in the housekeeping center with her friends

We always need a silly face :)

And I couldn't resist this picture of Case. I tried a few without the paci but this one was the best. Case is now 20 1/2 months old. Compared to the girls at this age he is my long, lean machine. He eats a lot but is a skinny minny. He is starting to add a lot more words to his current vocab which include: football, pizza, papaw, mammy, papa, choo choo, book, eat, milk, these are just a few. Case is still obsessed with cars and is starting to like trains. He is a very sweet boy who I love to pieces.
