The hottest, coolest time in Texas....Schlitterbahn

I was reading my Southern Living and saw an ad for Schlitterbahn Galveston. In the ad they showed they are open year round due to their indoor, heated area for winter time. We decided to take the girls for the day and it was a blast. Not only did they have a kid area, the girls were able to ride the lazy river/wave pool, swim in the hot tub and go down the "big" slides with mom & dad in the tubes. Below are just a few pics from the action packed adventure.

Christmas Break 2009

Merry Christmas 2009! This break has been full of fun and excitement. We have been to the zoo as evidence of my one picture of a new lion before my battery died. We celebrated Christmas with my parents and my in-laws, seen some movies and took a trip to Schlitterbahn Galveston. The best part has been getting to be with the girls 24-7. I love this time of year :)

Merry Christmas from M&M!

We finally got around to getting some pictures taken for a Christmas card which will now be a Happy New Year card. When we finished I had Lonnie take some of the girls with our camera and they came out so cute.

Nursey Makeover Complete!

Except for a few minor details Case's room is finished and I LOVE IT!! Thanks to Kenna for the inspiration and helping decorate. I was very fortunate to receive a lot of gifts that helped make the room complete. Now we are just waiting for baby Case.

Decorating with Lonnie's things was a lot of fun too.

Baby Shower for Case

My neighbors Kenna and Lisa and close friend Jennifer hosted a baby shower for Case. Who knew boy stuff could be so cute?? The football cake was delicious and the diaper cake was adorable. Thank you to everyone that could come.

Busy December

Now that I have a little more time on my hands I am hoping to figure out how to enhance my blog! Thanks to my friend Emily I was able to get this picture and hopefully a few more and the timelines of the kiddos. This month has been crazy to say the least. My birthday, Mallory's birthday, mother in law's birthday, baby shower for Case, birthday party at Chuck E Cheese, you get the idea. Lonnie and I are looking forward to the upcoming break for rest and relaxation. We hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

3rd trimester here we come...

This past weekend marked the end of Lonnie's football season, another Thanksgiving break and the beginning of my 3rd trimester. Lonnie's team finished 12-1 for the year and had an amazing ride. They lost to John Tyler who was skilled to say the least. It was awesome to see Lonnie's defense excel throughout the season. For Thanksgiving we visited my inlaws and my brother came in town. The girls enjoyed seeing their cousins Lainey and Taylor and we did a lot of hanging around.
As soon as I can figure out how to post more pics I will show the transformation of the nursery. This weekend we had the room painted and began the decorating. My mother in law got me Case's bedding and the accessories we have so far are so cute! I hope all is well with everyone and I can't wait for xmas break!

One season ends, the other continues

So I have decided with the upcoming Madison addition and my life about to get really crazy I would start a blog to keep everyone filled in. In case I haven't talked to you in a while here is a summary of what has been going on the last few months in the Madison house. Volleyball ended for me last night in the Regional Quarterfinals. After an amazing season 39-7, we came up just short losing to a team from Austin. It was frustrating to lose not playing our best but everything happens for a reason. Mallory told Lonnie she wanted me to lose so I would be home now and that makes the loss worth it, being with the girls more. Lonnie's season has been awesome as well. His team finished the regular season 10-0 and will have their first playoff game this week. Go Tigers. My attention will now turn to rooting him on. Morgan turned 3 on Monday and loved her new bike, her Barbie cake and everyone singing to her. She is getting so grown up. Mallory continues to be the smartie pants that she is, loves her school and is a great big sister. She will be 5 a month from today. I am now 26 weeks prego and huge. I think I am the same size I was at the end with the girls and I am not due until February 19th. I am afraid Case Patrick is going to be a big boy. I am ready to rest, relax and get the nursery ready for his arrival which I can focus on now that vball is over.
