Morgan Elise turns 5!!

On Wednesday, November 9th, Morgan Elise turned 5! She requested pancakes for breakfast so I woke up early to make them. I also brought her class a cookie cake. She was treated to a surprise at school when her mammy(my mom) stopped by with a baloon and presents. Since it was a gymnastics night we had our weekly ritual at Double Dave's following the girl's class and asked my inlaws to join. My parents are both out of town and will celebrate with her when they return!(the girls will have a joint bday party but not until Dec)

Morgan has been wanting an American Girl doll for probably about the last six months. Here is Julie her new best bud!!

Once we got home and put Case to bed we sang to Morgan and let her have her birthday cake. Lonnie's request for Morgan was yellow cake with chocolate icing....not sure who wanted that more :)

Mallory has a journey doll named Meredith and she is modeling one of the outfits Mamaw got Morgan's doll for her birthday- luckily they are good about sharing. Morgan is wearing the pink scarf that Mammy made her for her birthday.

I took Morgan in for her wellness check and to say it was an experience is an understatement. When we got there Morgan overheard that she would be getting 3 shots plus flu vaccine up her nose. When the doctor came in Morgan was hiding under the table telling the Dr. no...I told her she wasnt't the one that even gives the shots. After her check up and all was good, the nurse came in with the dreaded needles! Let's just say Morgan is one strong little girl and if you were down the hall you would have heard her screaming. The good news- no more shots until she is 10. I think it might take her that long to recover anyway.

Taylor Swift

Saturday night the girls & I met Ms. J & Ms. P with K, A, H, H, & B to go see Taylor Swift.


The concert was amazing!!! The girls had so much fun.

Our seats were awesome- way to go Paige & the performance was incredible.


She played for 2 1/2 hours straight! Tons of set & costume changes...

And then surprise guest Nelly came out for a song. Even though I has two worn out children at the end(we got home at 12:30) it was worth it! Great memories created with great friends!!!

Halloween 2011

For Halloween this year Case was a giraffe, Morgan was Rapunzel and Mallory was Kit the Kat. We invited my parents and inlaws over for some taco soup and treats prior to trick or treating. I am so mad because I didn't get any pics of my parents but they arrived in full costume! My mom was a cat and my dad was a monk!

Here were the kids prior to going out. Case wasn't too sure about his costume to begin with and was also nearing his bedtime so I didn't quite know how the night would end up.

Once we got outside Case loved going up to each house. If there were lights, music, scary stuff he just stood and checked everything out.
