I apologize for my summer hiatus! I am hoping to catch back up with all the fun things that went on this summer. I have pics from my phone as well as my camera so be prepared for an abundance of both!
A few weeks after we returned from our Cabo trip, we went on our family vacation to Seacrest Beach, Florida. Back in the spring our neighbors had asked if we wanted to go and we said sure so we rented a house together and come July- off we went. One word to describe our trip would be AWESOME. I think we will make this trip from here on out. The area is about an hour past Destin and it was seriously one of the cutest places I have been.
Anyone else notice that Mallory's flip flops are almost the same size as mine???
Our neighborhood was across the street from the beach but you could call a tram that would take you and drop you off. The water was very pretty.
This was Case's first trip to the beach. He wasn't quite sure about the waves and the water but did enjoy playing in the sand.
One of the days as the guys were golfing we took the kids to a splash pad that was just a walk down from our house. We had a picnic on the lawn. So fun!

Our resort was about 12 miles from Watercolor and Seaside Beach(pretty popular these days as Reese Witherspoon was in Seaside the whole week we were) so one afternoon we took the kids to check it out.

The last day before we left we drove to Destin to do an excursion. We took a boat out where we got to see dolphins and then went shelling.
Pretty sure we do things for our kids that we wouldn't normally as I was not super excited about getting in this water. And Case- .....he totally swam in it. Really? Clear ocean water no thanks but tea colored water with giant crabs around your feet and you are okay?
It was successful however as we found some great shells.

Such a great family vacation and such a great family we went with. Loved all the memories we made and can't wait to do it again!
WOW ! beautiful vacations pictures . I've always loved beach vacations. There’s nothing better than sinking your toes into the warm sand surrounded by rays of sunshine with an umbrella drink in your hand.
