**WARNING: Multiple pictures to follow and could be longest post ever!
This year we went to Cabo San Lucas for our annual McKinney/Perroni/Madison trip. It was an adults only year and we added some of our BFFs The Gillenwaters.
Here we are at the airport waiting to take off.
The few pics below were not from my camera but show you how pretty the water and famous arch are.
The picture below is the view from our hotel looking out to the rocks. We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose. (I actually stayed here in college Spring Break circa 1999). It was nice because there are not a lot of all-inclusive places in Cabo but you had the option at the Rose and the food and drinks were great!
As soon as we got to the resort we put on our suits and headed to the pool!
Lonnie, Ryan, Evan
The Wives: Me, Tif, Jen and Paige
Tiffany took the next picture at the precise moment I sucked in!! I definitely don't look like that.
After hanging by the pool for a while we changed and met down for dinner. After we ate we turned in early as we were all exhausted from traveling(and stuffing our face)
Day 2: Hung out by the pool, checked out the beach, RELAXED!
Evan trying to ride a wave.....the wave had other plans
If you look closely you can see the sand in his beard.
That night we ate at Edith's. We also found a cool bar to watch Game 6 of the NBA finals.
After watching the game we headed to Sammy Hagar's bar Cabo Wabo.
Jenn was such a trooper. She broke her ankle on Mother's Day(trampoline accident ;) and was in a boot for the trip.
Classic photo bomb
Hotty hubby!
Chillin' by the pool - Day 3
It's amazing how much sleep you can catch up on without children(and since there are 10 between us all, that is a lot)
For lunch on Day 3 we headed to The Office(highly recommend visiting if you go to Cabo)
Jenn watched the table while we rode wave runners in the ocean
Ready for dinner
On the day before we left Lonnie made one of my life long dreams come true....we signed up to go swim with the dolphins!
While we waited we were able to pet some of the parrots they had. They gave kisses, high fives and were so pretty.
Paige's bird liked her ;)
I love this picture!
If you know me then you know I love dolphins, always have, always will!! This really was the coolest experience.
Cabo Dolphins is located in downtown Cabo which was about 10 minutes from our resort. The dolphins are in the big blue tank you see below.
Meet Renoir
Friendly little fella!
We each got to ride the dolphin twice. You could choose to hold their fins like Lonnie below, hold their dorsal fin or put on a mask and ride them under water.
Lonnie's turn for some kisses
My turn to ride
I figured since this might be only chance to do this I would ride the dolphin underwater. It was about 12 seconds and my ears popped but it was so surreal and totally worth it.
I was so happy to have this experience and sharing it with Lonnie made it even more special.
That evening we ate at the best Italian restaurant called La Dolce. Tiffany was my date since our hubbies stayed at the resort to watch Game 7.
Last night
We had a great trip with our great friends. Can't wait for the next one.
