Case's 1st dentist visit

We recently switched to a new dentist specifically for the kiddos and I am soooo glad we did. Yesterday Case went for his first visit and did awesome!!


The staff was so friendly and nice and really made Case feel comfortable.


Before he got his X-rays they showed him with a puppet how to bite down on the film, how they would take a picture, etc.


The office itself is a kid's dream. There is a game room in the waiting area, TVs all around and a TV on the ceiling above each chair for the kids to watch while getting their cleaning.


I adore this picture! They let the kids wear sunglasses so the big light doesn't hurt their eyes. When they are finished, the kids get a balloon and a token to get a prize not to mention a little goody bag with toothbrush, paste, floss, stickers & a pencil....can I get an appt?

For my CISD peeps, they take our dental insurance!!!!! If you are interested in their info just let me know as I would highly recommend them.

Spring Busy- Trip to Austin

We ended Spring Break with a big exclamation point, our trip to Austin to see The Gillenwaters!!!

We got to Austin Friday afternoon and as always when we see the Gs, picked up right where we left off. After catching up we got the kids fed, babysitters came & we headed to dinner and The Oasis.




Lonnie and Ryan hanging out while we listened to an 80s type cover band(but really they could sing everything!!!) named Suede playing at The Oasis. They were awesome and we had a blast dancing the night away.

On Saturday we went to a friend of theirs bday parties and they had a pony to ride!!!




Case got hurt on the bounce house and I thought we were going to have to go to the ER. Luckily he's just a little dramatic and although we have phased out our love for all things pink & dresses....Case couldn't resist Superwoman while everyone else played dress up.

Spring Busy- Saying Goodbye

Wednesday was a sad day as we had to say goodbye to Mallory's BFF Chloe and her family. Mal and Chloe met last year in class and became fast friends as did Chloe's mom and I. Chloe's dad took a job in Tulsa and would leave the day after these pictures.


I am so grateful that Mallory developed a friendship with Chloe who has a heart of gold and a great love for God. I know they will be forever friends.

This is Chloe's little sister Campbell who was in Morgan's class this year. Cami & Morgan became best buds too.





We will miss this family so much and wish the very best for their new adventure!!!!

Spring Busy- quick trip to CS

On Tuesday, the kids and I took a quick trip to College Station. I got a workout in at Seth & Paige's new Crossfit box and then we got in the hot tub!

Our trip was short but successful. Lots of fun wears you out.

Spring Busy- The Rodeo

On Monday we took the kids to the Rodeo. It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the carnival.


Lonnie and the kids headed over to Reliant.




The carnival was a big hit. Here are the girls riding a "big" kid ride.

We met up with The Perronis and the McKinneys. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of Case on the rides he did. He loved the obstacle course bouncers and rode with me on the really tall slide with zero fear.


And who can leave the rodeo without a pink hat and white boots with gold tips???

Spring Busy- The sleepover

Spring Break should really be named Spring Busy when you have little ones!! This year was no different. I hope you enjoy the next few posts full of fun.


We started off the break with a good old fashioned sleepover! Pyramids, pizza, popcorn, dress up, s'mores & egg races.

Last week we visited the doctor for everyone's yearly check up.


My typical mommy brain thought our appt was Friday but it was really Monday...luckily they saw us anyway!

The girls were consistent with their growth as was Case. Here are their stats:

Mallory- 54 inches(91%) and 66 1/2 lbs(77%)
Morgan- 49 1/4 inches(93%) and 56 1/2 lbs(87%)
Case- 38 3/4 inches(78%) and 33.2 lbs(64%)
