Janna is one of my BFFs, former teammates at SMU and little sis' in my sorority(Go Chi O!) She is the mom to two precious little girls R & R!  Well Big R turned 5 and Janna hosted a beautiful birthday tea party for her.

My precious M&Ms!!!

When the guests showed up they were given sun hats and could pick out flowers that the grandmothers helped glue on...such a cute craft.

They were served tea(pink lemondae), pb&j, cheese, goldfish, cupcakes, etc....so sweet

They had tables set up for the dolls!  Here is Meredith and Kelsey enjoying their tea ;)

Here is Janna's other half David(great job with the party Dad) and little R

Here are all the lovely ladies.  Thanks Janna for a wonderful afternoon and Happy 5th birthday sweet R!!

Squirrel #1

A few months ago Mallory came home because she was so excited the 2nd grade was going to perform a musical, "The Bear Went over the Mountain".  She told me that you were allowed to try out for a speaking part or singing solo.....

This past week she made her debut as Squirrel #1, two speaking lines and all :)

We had to find a brown shirt as part of her squirrel costume and can I just say that is next to IMPOSSIBLE in April!!  Mal stumbled upon this one at Old Navy(after we had been at 5 other stores), in the boys section, under a lot of bright-colored piles, right before we left(as I was dog cussing under my breath).  She said she asked God to help and then there it was, too funny.

Sorry for the poor picture quality- the play was so cute

Great job Mallory!

Aggie Spring Game- almost

This past weekend we had big plans to go to College Station for the annual Letterman's reunion and spring game.  Earlier in the week Case came down with a stomach bug.  He was fine by Thursday am as was everyone else in our family so by Friday after work we were headed to Casa McKinney.

Unfortunately my evening was short lived as I got sick at dinner and turned in early.  The rest of the gang enjoyed the night out but Saturday there was no way I was going to the Spring game.  Luckily it was on ESPN which is where Lonnie wanted to watch it anyway and the McKinney's made my kids the happiest ever by staying at the house with us which meant POOL TIME FUN!!!

Cutest Ags Ever!

Kate(10), Hannah(6), Morgan(6), Mallory(8) and Abigail(8)(they are growing up so fast!!!)

The Perronis were also in town and had gone to the game with family.  Luckily we were still around when they got back and got some swimming with Hud(8) and Bella(5).

These pics crack me up!!

Apparently it is tough to coordinate when to jump!

As always we had a blast and can't wait until next time.  Thank you McKinney's for everything.

Weekend Fun

Often times our weekends consists of hanging out at the house. The kids love to play dress up, play in the yard, play, play, play. Below are some images capturing these moments!

Morgan dressed as mom, Mallory's "stuffed" Cleopatra impersonation and Case as a punk pink skeleton

Change to beach babes with weapons??? (And Case of course in the girl's cover up)

Change to slip and slide fun!!

And lastly a little Bond, Mallory Bond.

No shortage of good times and imagination at The Madison's!

Hoppy Easter 2013

On Easter Sunday we celebrated by going to church and then my in-laws house for some yummy home cooking.  I tried to get a picture of our entire family but Lonnie decided to change rather quickly so that was out.

My Blessings!

Case is definitely a momma's boy and tells me often that I am his best friend.

Mamaw and Mammy posing with the kids

The Easter Bunny was very generous and left Mallory a new bible, a swimsuit and water shoes(all for chuch camp this summer), Morgan got a bunny, a swimsuit and Operetta(another Monster High Barbie) and Case got the coolest dreamlight.  It is a pillow pet with a night light and the pet is A&M's Reveille.  It shines stars on the wall with an aTm insignia which Lonnie says is never too early to begin the brain washing! ha

The night before Easter my parents took the girls to Grimaldi's and the symphony downtown that was playing all Disney music.  They love dressing up and I love they are exposed to so many different things.(sorry for the poor quality pics, they are from my phone!)

Mal, Bo and Beatrice.....the pups have changed so much!

Mallory got her hair cut over the weekend and I think it came out so cute.  She seems so grown up to me. (I think it is time for Mommy to get a cut too!!)

I hope your Easter was a wonderful one and I am so thankful for God sending his one and only son Jesus to die on the cross for us.  What a selfless act and I am forever grateful.
